These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Early Chapters iOS application and related services, operated by Hidden Link Studios, a trade name (DBA) of Esguerra Enterprises L.L.C. ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. About Early Chapters

Early Chapters is a private family memory app that allows you to capture and share photos, videos, milestones, and video logs of your child's life — preserving moments in a private, family-controlled space. The App is intended for adults only. Children may not create accounts.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@earlychapters.xyz if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Family Groups and Invitations

The App allows you to create a family group and invite other adults as members. By creating or joining a family group:

• Content shared within the group will be visible to all current group members
• You are responsible for the invitations you send and for ensuring only trusted individuals are added
• You may remove family members at any time, ending their future access to shared content
• We are not responsible for the actions of family members you invite

4. Subscriptions and Billing

All subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store in-app purchase system. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's Terms of Service in addition to these Terms.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. You may cancel at any time through iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not have the ability to issue refunds for in-app purchases. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with reasonable advance notice.

5. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all photos, videos, milestone notes, captions, and other content you upload to the App. We do not claim ownership of your content.

By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, transmit, and display your content solely as necessary to operate the App and provide the service to you and your authorized family group. We do not use your content for advertising, model training, or any purpose beyond operating the service.

You represent that you have the right to upload and share your content, that it does not violate any law or third-party rights, and that you have appropriate consent to upload images or videos containing other individuals. We are not a backup service — we strongly recommend keeping your own independent copies of important photos and videos.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene
• Violate any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
• Share content that depicts child abuse or exploitation in any form
• Attempt to access, tamper with, or disrupt the App's systems or infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the App
• Use the App for any commercial purpose not expressly authorized by us

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these standards and to suspend or terminate accounts that engage in prohibited behavior.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent activity. Upon termination, your right to access the App ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

All technology, design, trademarks, logos, and content that make up the Early Chapters App (excluding your content) are owned by or licensed to Esguerra Enterprises L.L.C. (DBA Hidden Link Studios). "Hidden Link Studios" and "Early Chapters" are trade names of Esguerra Enterprises L.L.C. Unauthorized use of these names is prohibited.

11. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services including Apple, RevenueCat, Supabase, and PostHog. Your use of the App is also subject to the applicable terms and policies of these providers. We are not responsible for the practices, availability, or performance of third-party services.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Clark County, Nevada.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email at least 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
